CARE helps alleviate global poverty by empowering women around the world to bring lasting change to their communities. Our Strategic Alliances and Partnerships (SPA) division is responsible for creating dynamic relationships with Fortune 1000 corporations and their employees to secure unrestricted and restricted funding for our programs worldwide. CARE seeks a Program Manager, Corporate Engagement to work closely with the Senior Director of Development, Corporate Engagement, to implement employee engagement/giving programs, cause related marketing, and national sponsorship with Fortune 200-1000 corporations to meet unrestricted funding goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement corporate sponsorship, cause marketing, and employee engagement programs.
- Provide support across all corporate partnerships.
- Ensure that best practices for Fortune 200 - 1000 corporate partner employee and consumer engagement are applied across top-tier partners to drive additional unrestricted funding.
- Cultivation follow-up.
- Due diligence research and presentation development.
- Financial tracking and reporting.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or equivalent combination of education and work experienced
- Two to Five years experience in employee engagement/giving (or employee volunteer programs), fundraising, cause marketing, or sponsorships.
- Strong project management skills including ability to navigate complex internal and external priorities and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Raised $150,000 annually from corporate sponsor programs, either internally or externally, with Fortune 200-1000 companies.
- Proven ability to successfully deliver on goals in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
- Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
- Highly organized.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Desired Skills:
- Previous private-sector work experience, especially in the area of Employee Relations.
- Familiarity with international development work.
- Understanding of cause related marketing and licensing structures and legal processes.
