- Plans, manages and co-ordinates the operations of the Finance Department;
- Designs and co-ordinates the development, review and implementation of appropriate financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management and controls
- Co-ordinates the preparation of annual plans and budgets and advises management on all financial matters
- Oversees the maintenance of accounting records and generation of periodic and annual financial reports that meet both the statutory requirements and international accounting standards;
- Controls and authorizes expenditure and ensures that all departments, divisions and functional units adhere to approved budgets.
- Coordinates and oversees efficient treasury management;
- Oversees the design, implementation and maintenance of the Corporation’s computerized management information systems;
- Handles the performance management; supervision and development of staff within the Finance Department.
- Preparation of short and long term plans including corporate strategies
Qualifications
- B Com. – Accounting option or Equivalent from a recognized university
- Masters Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field from a recognized university
- CPA (K), ACCA or equivalent
- Computer literacy is a must for the position
- Training and exposure in leadership roles
Experience
- Ten (10) years experience at a senior position in a relevant and comparable institution/field.
- Applicants with banking experience will have an added advantage.

- Co-ordinates the periodic review and updating of credit policies and procedures manuals;
- Manage stakeholders relationships and represent the Corporation at stakeholders’ forums
- Liaise with all other departments on credit administration matters;
- Handle the performance management; supervision and development of staff within the operations department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural economics, Agribusiness or related fields from a recognized university.
- Professional Masters degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Agricultural economics, Agribusiness or related fields from a recognized university.
- Computer literacy is a must for the position

- Develop and execute comprehensive audit programs for the evaluation of the management controls provided by the Corporation;
- Interpret and explain legislation, rules, regulations and procedures as applied and related to the auditing of programs and operations of the Corporation;
- Implement specialized auditing programs to assist management in the evaluation and control of program operations so as to maintain compliance to International Audit standards and conformance to financial requirements;
- Manage audit of all units and establishments of the Corporation, and determine scope of investigation required;
- Make reports to Management and the Board;
- Liaises with departmental heads to ensure audit findings and recommendations are implemented;
- Undertakes special audits as directed by the Board;
- Handles the performance management; supervision and development of staff within the Internal Audit Department;
- Undertakes risk management;
Qualifications

- Develop and implement appropriate communications and public relations strategies;
- Plan and conduct programs designed to create and maintain a positive image of the Corporation to the external publics;
- Plan and direct communication strategies designed to keep internal publics informed of the Corporations’ programs and policies;
- Develop new markets and diversify customer base for the Corporation’s products
- Undertake regular market research to advice management on customer service levels, competitor analysis, market trends, demand forecast etc.
- Spearhead the branding and positioning of Corporation’s products;
- Participate in the identification of suitable products/services for target customers
- Undertake product development initiatives in liaison with Planning/Resource Mobilization divisions to respond to market trends
- Design and implement marketing communications programs
- Develop and implement appropriate Corporate Social Responsibility programs
- Initiate and coordinate the production of in-house publications;
- Oversee and manage corporate events;
- Handle the performance management; supervision and development of staff within the Corporate Communications and Marketing Division.
Qualifications

Credit Officer II

Accountant III

- Supervises the receipting and safe custody of loan collections and advices on portfolio quality trends
- Assists in the preparation, development and analysis of management accounting information;
- Prepares cash flow statements, income and expenditure accounts besides producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports;
- Processes payments to suppliers;
- Processes disbursement requests for loans at the branch level;
- Supervises the receipting and safe custody of loan collections at the branch level and advices on portfolio quality trends;
- Undertakes timely collection of other income including rent receivable on Corporations’ properties;
- Takes part in budgeting, planning, forecasting and setting performance measures for the business at the branch;
- Sits in loan committee meetings and provides advice on matters of financial nature related to loan making; disbursement and collection;
- Manages the processing and reimbursement of branch imprest;
Qualifications
- B Com. – Accounting option or equivalent from a recognized university
- CPA II or equivalent
- Computer Literacy is a must
Experience
