Sr. Network Engineer

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for providing a strong background in Network layer 2 and 3 technologies designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures at all branches. The Sr. Network Engineer provides high-level technical support for voice and data network systems, Perform advanced troubleshooting techniques on all SolarWinds products. Identify and isolate issues through log analysis, creates and maintains network documentation, maintains hardware and software standards, and works projects as needed in order to upgrade to new and/or improved communication equipment and procedures. The Sr. Network Engineer must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices, network management systems, content filtering and WAN optimization controllers.
