Crisis Intervention Project Manager

Job Description

Title: Crisis Intervention Project Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Location: 733 8th Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003
Supervises: Volunteers and Interns

Job Duties:

1. Maintain screening process for each client entering the program.
2. Provide short-term case management for clients residing in the program including but not limited to:
1. Public Benefits;
2. Housing plan after 30 days are exhausted;
3. Enrollment in job readiness and/or training programs;
3. Ensure that adequate resources are available to clients including counseling, legal representation, and emergency financial assistance.
4. Maintain relationships with agencies that can provide those resources and negotiate appropriate MOUs as needed.
5. Work in coordination with the Finance Manager and Co-Executive Directors to ensure that application packets are complete and submitted in a timely way.
6. Manage all billing related to the project to ensure maximum reimbursement.
7. Work directly with Accountant Consultant to ensure fiscal controls are being met.
8. Ensure efficient client move in and move out.
9. Communicate with landlord regarding any issues related to building site such as turnover of rooms, needed repairs, security issues, etc.

Qualifications:

·Commitment to SAFE’s mission.

·Substantial experience in case management and resource coordination.

·Strong program planning and development skills

·Demonstrated ability to manage highly detailed information effectively.

Preferred

·Spanish/English bilingual

·2+ years experience in the non-profit domestic violence field

·Knowledge of domestic violence community and human services delivery in D.C.

·Detail-oriented with ability to effectively multi-task and to prioritize

Ability to take initiative and work independently

·Integrity, energy, and a sense of humor

Salary commensurate with experience and background.
