The Operations Director reports to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer. As a cross-functional administrator, the Operations Director coordinates FJC's use of its internal platform of services and the operational policies necessary for FJC to accomplish its mission and serve its constituents efficiently and effectively. The Operations Director is also responsible for ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of leadership skills while able to balance the day-to-day tasks of the position.
Organizational Development & Leadership
Participate in developing the short- and long-term operational strategy and tactical plans to accomplish organization objectives.
Evaluate and revise internal policies, procedures, & processes consistent with the operational strategy.
Information & Technology Systems
Oversee the effective design and maintenance of FJC’s computer and telecommunications networks.
Coordinate the selection, implementation and proper utilization of technology solutions to accomplish organizational objectives.
Ensure the maintenance and evolution of an effective online presence such as FJC’s website.
Supervise consultants and vendors delivering ITS goods and services.
Coordinate all ITS services and requests.
Finance & Administration
Coordinate with senior executive staff the integration of FJC’s IT systems with day-to-day financial management.
Oversee procurement, including negotiation with consultants and vendors.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelors degree..
Minimum of two years of management experience .
Skills & Attributes
Successful experience in supervising, mentoring and leading a diverse team of varying skill levels.
High level of computer literacy and ability to integrate new technology into existing systems. KNOWLEDGE OF DONOR ADVISED FUND DATABASE MANAGEMENT A PLUS.
