In response to the increasing trend of sexual gender based violence (SGBV), including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) in Liberia, the Government and United Nations has developed a joint programme on Prevention and Response to SGBV. The programme will support the operationalization of the National GBV Plan of Action (2006), which is guiding National efforts to curb the high trend of SGBV in Liberia.
