£15,000 - £17,109 per annum (plus £3,300 London Market Allowance)

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist/Customer Service co-ordinator to meet and greet staff, visitors, and other users of the British Council office, whether in person or by phone in a friendly and professional manner. You will be required to process all visitors using our in-house registering system, issuing electronic passes; following establishes procedures for expected and unexpected arrivals. You will maintain data, records and financial reports relating to Global Estates Reception Services. Carry out basic housekeeping duties, liaising with guards to ensure the security of the reception and front of house areas at the British Council London office.

You will have: at least 1-2 years Customer Service experience, be punctual, required to work within a shift rota, basic computer skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office. Excellent listening and oral communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks simultaneously whilst interacting with visitors. Ability to work well within a team.
