We are looking for an administrator with 1-2 years customer service experience to provide operational delivery of the Global Estates Helpdesk response services. You will respond to requests from staff, visitors and other users of British Council offices of the UK and, where relevant, the global estate, for support on property and facilities management (P&FM) issues. Create bookings for the larger hospitality meeting rooms at the British Council London and video conference rooms in the Manchester office, amending and cancelling these in response to user requests as required. Generate work orders and regular reports on the support requests made through the Global Estate helpdesk in order to support the effective delivery of Global Estate’s P&FM function across the British Council’s global estate. Carry out general property and facilities management (P&FM) duties at the British Council London office to support the wider Global Estate team as appropriate.

You will have: 1-2 years experience in Customer Services. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer programmes such as Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and the ability to work as part of a team are essential to this role.
The post holder will be required to work a shift rota between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday.
