Director of Finance - Tanzania

Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST) is a results-orientated Social Business, which
uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide family planning,
reproductive and sexual healthcare and allied services. MST's goal is to
meet the needs of the underserved and dramatically improve access to and use
of family planning and other reproductive health services. MST is part of
Marie Stopes International's Global Partnership, which operates in over 43
countries worldwide.

As part of the Executive Management Team (EMT), the Director of Finance will
provide strategic financial management and leadership to MST, ensuring
appropriate systems; procedures and controls are in place to support the
continued growth of the country programme. S/he provides leadership to the
MST finance and procurement team and advises the Country Director on
financial and business strategy.

The post involves travel within Tanzania and internationally.

Social Franchise Manager Position

The social franchise programme at MSI is growing rapidly to complement MSI's existing clinics and mobile outreach programmes. MSI's social franchise programme aims to strengthen national health systems by engaging the private
sector in the delivery of high quality reproductive health care services.

MSI has social franchise programmes in nine countries in Africa and Asia with over 1,300 franchised private providers. MSI is looking to increase the productivity of current franchises, expand the scale of programmes, and
initiate new franchise programmes.

The Social Franchise Manager will be responsible for ensuring the clinical quality of MSI's social franchising programmes globally. The candidate will be responsible for strengthening the systems and processes necessary to
increase access to high quality family planning services for low income and underserved people, and generate evidence to support improvements in operations and programme growth.

The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in the reproductive health combined. This post involves extensive international travel (up to 60%). You must be pro-choice on abortion.
