CAFOD’s Mission is to promote human development and social justice in witness to Christian Faith and gospel values. Having invested significantly in a strategic review process and improving purpose-built systems and teams, CAFOD is now poised to deliver a robust portfolio of community-led programmes, with emphasis on transforming the prospects of women and girls.
CAFOD is seeking a Head of Programmes to ensure that our accountability agenda and central focus on women’s rights-based programming is effective in reducing poverty, challenging injustice and supporting sustainable development.
Having significant field experience, preferably in Africa, the Head of Programmes will work alongside a strong senior leadership team to help build the capacity of the devolved structure and efficient decision-making culture. You will be responsible for programme delivery at the highest standard of community empowerment and programme contextualisation. You will be a strongly collaborative leader who is able to translate vision and strategy into execution and sustainable impact. Above all you will certainly have a passion for social change and a fierce resolve to help us to transform lives.
